QUAGGA SELLS LEGENDARY KAROO SALOON
Well known biker hangout along Route 62 – Karoo Saloon – has recently been sold by Len Pears, director of Quagga Property Brokers, to local Cape Town couple, Clare Dalton and Dan Pienaar, who will be living on the property and will be running the saloon on site. Keen gardeners and cooks, they intend bringing the “fruits of their labour” to the table. They believe that a friendly family environment is paramount to the on-going success of the business and Dan and Clare have always believed in looking after and getting involved in the local business community.
The 27 hectare biker’s themed property was sold lock, stock and barrel for a cool R1.8million. Built in 2006, the Karoo Saloon offers accommodation for campers, bed and breakfast or just a quick sleep over.
